Bernhard Krabatsch

Musician and Instructor

Bernhard Krabatsch received his education at the University of Mozarteum Salzburg, the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and the University of Arts Graz, studying under Professors Claudio Alberti, Richard Galler, and David Seidel.

As a regular guest in orchestras such as the Vienna Symphony, ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna, Cappella Andrea Barca, Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, and the Munich Philharmonic, he has performed at festivals including the Salzburg Festival, Wiener Festwochen, Festival Aix-en-Provence, and the Grafenegg Festival. He has worked with conductors such as Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Zubin Mehta, Kirill Petrenko, and Franz Welser-Möst. In addition to his engagement with the Bruckner Orchestra Linz, he serves as a professor for bassoon at the University of Arts Graz.
