Johannes Mimler
With the goal of doing every day what brings joy and happiness, my journey as a musician began! I am deeply grateful to my mentors, instructors, and professors who have guided and continue to support me along this path. Despite my young age, I have already had the opportunity to gain valuable experiences – and I gladly share these, along with what I have learned and my passion for music, offering advice and assistance whenever needed.
In 2019, I completed my bachelor’s degree in tenor horn performance at the Robert Schumann University of Music in Düsseldorf. Since September 2019, I have been a professional tenor horn player with the Army Music Corps Ulm, a symphonic wind orchestra. In November 2022, I was honored to become a “Buffet Crampon Artist.” That same year, I happily founded the brass music group *Viererlei*. Since 2023, I have been a permanent member of “Berthold Schick und seine Allgäu6”. In June 2023, I earned my master’s degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich. As of 2024, I have been traveling throughout the German-speaking world with my workshop series “Tenorhorn Advanced”. Since 2023, I have been playing a “MeisterArt” tenor horn from Melton Meinl Weston and a “Meistersinger” trombone from B&S Markneukirchen!
