Writing weekend in Carinthia: “Because it’s good for the soul”

Retreating to a spiritual place to immerse ourselves in the creative world of letters allows us to switch off and become free. Ossiach Abbey in Carinthia is a real place of power for me. With a view of the picturesque lake, we get involved in the “Humanistic Italic” in the music room. We will get to know it, deepen it, let it dance and become one with it. It skilfully adapts to your own handwriting, is diverse and adaptable. That’s why we leave the given structures in order to make them vibrate with tension springs and pointed springs as well as with veneer. We use the “Cola Pen”, which we make ourselves, to create personal stationery. On it we write “what touches our heart” in order to let go of thoughts or hold on to them. Finally, we let them go to send our lines on their journey.

Material: The material will be brought by the course leader and made available for the duration of the workshop. For this purpose, the material contribution is collected for each participant. If desired, pen holders, feathers, paper and colors are available in the workshop for writing at home and are charged separately.

A contingent of rooms is reserved for course participants at Ossiach Abbey.
For billing reasons, I ask you to book and pay for the rooms directly at Ossiach Abbey.
We have reserved meals in the monastery restaurant “CMA Kulinarik.Campus Ossiach”.

All consumption must be paid for by the participants themselves.
